The cooperation between Eliane Rodrigues, Nina Smeets-Rodrigues, Carlo Willems and Koen Wilmaers is unique in the classical music world.

​January 2015 they appeared together on stage for the first time. Firework was in the air : an unseen liveliness, tight rhythm, virtuoso agility, purity, a rainbow of musical colors, deep emotion ... are some of the concepts with which this unique performance was described. A standing ovation from a euphoric audience was their reward.

Quickly came the demand for a sequel from which the idea for the Bernstein & Gershwin Connection grew. Eliane Rodrigues her last three CDs (Beethoven 8 concerti, Notturno with works by Chopin and Reflets with works by Debussy) were realized by Parma. They were asking for a CD from the Bernstein & Gershwin Connection. In October 2018 the CD was accomplished in collaboration with deSingel
